Computer Science and Mathematics and Statistics Activities

The Departments of Computer Science and Mathematics and Statistics hosted Model Laboratory School students for Celebration of Science and Mathematics Week. 

Dr. George Landon hosted the Computer Science activities and students had the opportunity to see how the Motion Capture Studio worked. 

Drs. Lisa Kay, Michelle Smith and Amanda Ellis along with students in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics hosted a variety of  probability games. During the games, the students bet play money on predicting certain outcomes. Over time, they could figure out which outcomes were more likely than others. Prizes were given to the students who won the most play money.
